Having a technical issue with our apps?
Please check our FAQ's below. If you still need more help just drop us a line at support@culturecurry.net.

1. I'm confused. What do I do with these apps? How do they work?

In both the Hindi learning apps on every alphabet page, if you tap or swipe the object that is moving on the screen, you'll see it come alive. For instance, touch the moving pumpkin to watch it make funny faces at you. In the tracing pages use the differnt coloured chalks to trace withing the numbered guidelines. If you touch the text in any alphabet it will repeat the sound of the alphabet. Watch our videos on the app pages to get a better idea of how the apps work.

In the story book app on Buddha, just swipe the pages from left to right to move to the next page; and right to left to move back. There are several buttons under the text to help you navigate better.

Press this button to go back to the previous narration

Press this button to move to the next narration

Press this button to replay the current narration

Press this button to access the meanings of the challengin words on that page. Press again to close.

Press this button to go to the settings from where you can change the language turn on/off the background score (defualt setting is off), adjust the volume, or go back to the home page

2. How can I change the volume and music settings for the app?

Having trouble with the volume settings? On the landing page of the app you'll see a button that looks like this. Press it to increase, decrease and mute the background music.

We've included 4 different tunes in our app which you can change to suit your mood. Just press on this button to switch between our three melodious tunes.

If for some reason, you can't hear the alphabet sounds at all, then you should check the volume and mute of your device.

Also, if you're working on iPad 1, which has a smaller memory you might need to switch off some of the other apps which are open on your device.

You could also try restarting your device - sometimes its just acting up!

3. Which devices will this app work on? What iOS is required?

Let's Learn Hindi! Requires iOS 6.0 or later. It is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimised for iPhone 5. While it will work on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, we are currently optimising it for those devices. We'll be updating the app shortly!
